Educators can access pre and post-assessment results
Now part of the Phonics Report card on RK Central, this new feature provides enhanced assessment tracking of student progress by providing access to detailed reports, allowing for further targeted instructional planning, saving you time and money! We’re hoping this can also help facilitate better communication with parents and stakeholders as you share concrete data on student achievement and areas for growth.
Phonics Teacher Manuals
Accessible via the Teacher Resources on RK Central, the entirety of RK Phonics Level 1 program lesson plans are now in consolidated documents. Detailing objectives, correlating standards, and systematic information on each lesson, this one-stop shop for Units 1-4 is a teacher’s best friend in running the Phonics program!
Phonics Introduction Lesson
Before jumping into the Phonics pre-assessment, students are able to complete a practice lesson helping bridge a strong foundation and allows for educators to assess students' initial skill levels, resulting in more tailored instruction from the start.
I-VAKT™ Resources (Including printable flashcards!)
Located in your RK Central Teacher Resources, you are now able to print out the flashcards used with each Phonics lesson plan! This allows you to practice letters and sounds anytime, anywhere- at home, in the classroom, or on the go. Also included is a reward jar coloring page that coincides with the rewards students earn along their phonics journey!
Phonics Family Letters
Strengthening the home-school connection is vital for generalization. You’re now able to empower your students' families with the new family newsletters for each Phonics lesson! They’re designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and home practice, providing clear, actionable tips for parents to reinforce phonics skills for their students.
